It is a very soft, medium thick fabric with a velvety-suède feel and look to it.
Both items are in really good condition.
As with any vintage garment, signs of wear and/or ageing can be expected. That is part of the charm. Both items have some faint marks that almost makes it look like a suede piece and it gives it a lot of character.
